Celebration of Lights

On December 21st we celebrated winter solstice by displaying lanterns at the center. During the week of December 18th, each child created his/her own lantern. We hung the finished art on the trees during the festival for both parents and children to enjoy!

Please join us in celebrating and exploring all the different cultures represented here at Little Acorns Children’s Center! Join us for a fun evening filled with delicious food, a fun movie, and children’s art display.

We are also collecting family pictures for display at the multicultural dinner event.  If you would like to share your family’s pictures and culture/history with us, please attach your family pictures and simple culture background to littleacornsllc@gmail.com (Please submit it by Dec 5th).

 

**This event is only for LACC families! Grandparents and siblings are welcome to attend.

Lunch ticket $ 5 per person

Lunch Menu:

Meat Chili or Veg Chili or Mac & Cheese , Cornbread, ½ Corn on the cob, Fruit salad

Activities:

Craft Tables, Tattoos, Face Painting, Pumpkin painting, Barefoot Book Sale, Small Animals (rabbits), ball pit with stuffed animals, create your own Tie Dye T-Shirt,  Soccer game, Pumpkin Toss, Photo Booth, Bake Sale, Barefoot Book Sale and etc…..

*All profits will go toward teachers’ appreciation dinner at the end of the year.
